In response to the dissemination of data from the 2011 National Household Survey (NHS) by Statistics Canada, l’Institut de la Statistique du Québec has developed a guide for users of Quebec (in french only): L’Enquête nationale auprès des ménages de Statistique Canada: état des connaissances à l’intention des utilisateurs du Québec, Note d’information.
Description
The cumulative profile of the NHS are the data tables for all geographic areas for which census data are disseminated.
- Census divisions (CD) and census subdivisions (CSD) (Extract of Cat. No. 99-014-X2011016 from Statistics Canada)
- Quebec, 99 MRCs (Extract of Cat. No. 99-014-X2011016 from Statistics Canada)
- Quebec, Census divisions (CD), Census subdivisions (CSD) and Dissemination areas (DA) (Special tabulation, Statistics Canada)
- Census metropolitan areas, Tracted Census Agglomerations and Census Tracts (CT) (Extract of Cat. No. 99-014-X20110019 from Statistics Canada)
- Census metropolitan areas (CMA) and census agglomerations (CA) (Extract of Cat. No. 99-014-X2011015 from Statistics Canada)
- Census metropolitan areas (CMA) and census agglomerations (CA) and census subdivisions (CSD) (Extract of Cat. No. 99-014-X2011018 from Statistics Canada)
- Federal electoral districts (FED) (2003 Representation order) (Extract of Cat. No. 99-014-X2011017 from Statistics Canada)
Important notice for the user of these two tables:
The table of Dissemination Area (DA) is not a standard product form Statistique Canada. The global non-response rate (GNR) may exceed the 50% threshold for many DA, wich is the threshold set by Statisitique Canada to ensure the reliability and the representativity of the data. Statistique Canada suggest not to use the DA data for which the RNG exceeds 50%.
