Topic-Based Tabulations are cross-tabulations on census topics, available for various level of geography. Topic-based tabulations exist since 2001 and replace the «Nation Series», the «Dimension Series» and the «Basic Summary Tables Series» of previous censuses.

Topic-based tabulations categorise into 14 unique topics and allowing manipulation of the variables. The tabulations are available for various levels of geography, excluding dissemination areas.
